Retail Management
Retailing Management is a three-credit course. It should be emphasized that this is a marketing course with a focus on management and an understanding of the role of retailing in the marketing of goods and services. Particular attention is given to the management of retailing, ecommerce, food retailing of all types, and strategic retail considerations. This course focuses on the distribution of goods to consumers. It emphasizes the dynamic nature of the retail environment and how changes in consumer demographics, new technology, globalization, new competitive forms, and internet re revolutionizing the retail industry.
